Brave Girl

A 10-year-old girl in Florida saved her 6-year-old friend from a shark attack. Earlier this summer, Kaley Szarmack was wading through the water near the beach. Suddenly, she felt pain in her right leg and saw a shark fin sticking out of the water nearby.
Szarmack shouted to warn her friend, but her friend did not hear her. Szarmack made her way to the girl and towed her to safety. Szarmack was taken to the hospital immediately, where she had surgery. She is recovering from the shark bite. Many people expect that she will get better soon.
